1966	Sanno Sangyo was founded as a small saw mill in Niihama, Shikoku Island
1970	Start to supply Exterior and Interior Items as a wholesaller
1972	The firm started wooden frame house construction as a contracter
1988	Sanno Housing Co. was estabrished as an independent wooden frame construction firm. Initially, the business was concentrated with carpentry work related to tradisional post and beam construction and subcontracted out it’s service.
1989	An automated timber crafting system for main structural frames (e.g. columns, beams, and roofing frames for Japanese ‘Zairai’ buildings), supplying its products to house builders was introduced.
1996	The precut system upgraded to craft other frames include braces and non-structural frames such as studs, joists and window sills. The firm became the first ‘Precut Factory’ equipped with a system which able to consistently produce frames for post-and-beam house construction in Shikoku region.
1997	Kobe branch was launched.
2000	ISO9001 was accreditted. The category in wooden frame joinery sector.
2002	Outer wall (siding) cutting service was started for house construction. (Sanno Sangyo Co.)
2003	Registered Architectural Design Office upgraded to class 1 from class 2 to expand its services for greater projects.
2004	CNC machinery for Timber Frame Joinery was introduced to craft a variety shapes of Custum Cut order. ISO14001 was accredited. The category in both wooden frame joinery sector and construction for wooden buildings.
2007	Sanno Housing added sales of solar generation system and the installation as a regional distributor in the business range as aregional distibutor of SHARP SUNVISTA photovoltaics power generation system. Hundegger, a German CNC wood working machine was brought in for heavy-timber and aesthetic-timber frame building projects.
2008	We started crafting large dimentional Glulam frames for commercial projects and midium-scale buildings in public sector.
2010	Smart Renovation include installation of Photovoltics Power Generation (PVPG) system, Home Energy Management System (HEMS) was introduced in house construction business. We began to focus ‘Green Building Project’ using materials and systems whose contribute to tackling Issue of Climate Change.
2013	A 250kW PVPG system were installed on the roof of our factory. The total installation of PVPG system reached 250 in residential project and 2500kW include some commercial projects in capacity.
2015	Another 250kW PVPG system were installed on the roof of our factory. The total installation of PVPG system reached 300 in residential projects and 3.5MW include some commercial projects in capacity. We are able to craft CLT panels with cadwork and a CNC machining centre for heavy timber building projects.
