It is the best season to enjoy the viewing autumn leaves in the mountain area of Shikoku.
Colour of leaves are more beautiful and vivid than those last year. Because the sun hasn’t blazed down for long time this summer. Also, it is quite big different in temperature between day and night in recent days.
These photos are taken at the peak of Mt. Nishi-Akaishi (1626m above sea level) about two weeks ago. The contrast between evergreen conifers (Sugi, Hinoki, Red pine) and colourful broadleaves species present us a beautiful scenery of the forest.
